TRAVEL FROM THE AIRPORT

Airports:

The closest airports to Bellagio in Lake Como is Milan Malpensa International Airport (MXP) 86 km, Linate Airport (LIN) 74 km and Bergamo Airport (BGY) 66 km. From the airport, there are the following options;

Car Rental:

There are different Car Rental Services inside the airports. August is high season in Italy, so we suggest to reserve your car in advance to guarantee availability and the best offer for the period. We can help you plan how to navigate the transport in Italy.

(During the night of our wedding we will provide transportation to/from Bellagio so you can enjoy the celebrations without designating drivers if you wish to.)

Train to Bellagio:

As alternative, there is also a train from Milano Centrale to Varenna-Esino, every hour. Check timetable here, according to your arrival: https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html 

When you arrive at Varenna Train Station, at 5 minutes walk there is a Ferry which takes you to Bellagio in 15 minutes (with stunning views). You can buy tickets directly by the ferry.

Taxi to Bellagio:

Taxis from the airport to Bellagio can be expensive, we suggest you to check the prices before hailing one (1 hour and 15 minutes). You could also team up with other guests so you are 4 ppl to cut the cost.
